DD Systems is a small business based in Melbourne, Australia which has been providing reliability improvement strategies to Manufacturing, Food Processing and Facilities Maintenance organisations for over 20 years.  We also provide small office/home office computer services.

DD Systems started in 1990 and we have been providing professional client focussed services for over 20 years.

As part of our reliability improvement services, we write computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS) and also provide CMMS setup and support, maintenance auditing and maintenance improvement strategies.

Our software development and support division, Dbase Developments works mainly with the Microsoft Visual FoxPro integrated development environment. Dbase Devlopments is the developer of MainPlan, PCMAINT and various add-on module such as Job Request and KPI Reporter.

MainPlan is an off-the-shelf Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) created by Dbase Developments.  MainPlan is a professional, Windows-based, asset and maintenance management system. MainPlan allows maintenance engineers to ensure QA compliance by providing a traceable history of all maintenance work. Typical applications of MainPlan are in manufacturing, plant maintenance, vehicle maintenance, asset or facility maintenance and spares inventory control. PCMAINT is the name previously used for MainPlan. PCMAINT and MainPlan are identical in every way. For new systems, the product is normally sold as MainPlan, but there is a very large user base for PCMAINT, so the product is still supported as both PCMAINT and MainPlan.
